It was reported earlier in the week that Sean Waltman recently checked into a Texas area rehab facility to take care of his personal problems. As it turns out, this is on WWE’s dime. Waltman said that WWE is picking up the tab for his stay in a treatment facility, reports prowrestling.NET. He is the fourth current/former WWE star currently staying at a rehab facility — at least that we know of — joining Ron Simmons, Scott Hall and Jake Roberts.

Zap2It.com has confirmed that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has signed on to star in New Line Cinema’s first 3-D animated movie, “Planet 51”. The big-budget film will co-star Jessica Biel, Sean William Scott and Justin Long/ Johnson will voice the lead character, an astronaut named Chuck Baker. When Baker lands on the mysterious Planet 51, he thinks he’s alone until he discovers a race of green people living a life not-so-different from our own. The script was written by Joe Stillman (one of the writers on the first two “Shrek” films) and Jorge Blanco is directing. “Planet 51” will hit theaters on July 24, 2009.
Speaking of The Rock, several entertainment news sources have reported that he will be presenting at the 2008 Academy Awards.
