— With TNA iMPACT’s television ratings at an all-time high, there are a lot of eyes on upcoming PPV buyrates.

— The UFC 80: “RAPID FIRE” PPV from January 19th featuring BJ Penn vs. Joe Stevenson in the main event was the lowest UFC buyrate in more than six months, but it still beat out WWE Survivor Series in domestic buys. UFC 80 drew 225,000 domestic while Survivor Series 2007 drew approximately 200,000.

— UFC 80 did more buys than WWE’s Survivor Series PPV even with stiff competition. The Roy Jones Jr. vs. Felix Trinidad fight that aired on the same night as UFC 80 did approximately 500,000 buys.
