Stacy Keibler Turns To eBay, SD’s Future, & More News & Notes

Actress and former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler is turning to eBay. She will be auctioning off some old WWE items such as DVDs, posters, trading cards, etc., not to mention other items from her personal collection on the auction site soon. Keibler will donate a portion of the sales to her favorite charities. This is all according to The Baltimore Sun’s Kevin Eck, who was the editor of WCW Magazine up until WCW went out of business in March 2001. He did stories on Keibler for the magazine and they’re both from the Baltimore area.

Contrary to some reports circulating online, MyNetworkTV is actually available in HD, so when SmackDown moves to the network this fall, SmackDown will still be available in HD — at least to people who get their HD channel. When MyNetworkTV initially launched in Sept. 2006, some of their soap operas were broadcast in HD. However, the soap operas garnered low ratings and they turned to cheap filler shows & old movies instead, all of which isn’t broadcast in HD. So to clarify, they have an HD channel, they just noly use it. Check your local listings to see if you get the HD channel. Most Comcast subscribers should have it.

TVTechnology.com has an article up about WWE’s production and switch to HD.

The WrestleMania AXXESS Tour hits Chicago this weekend with appearances by Maria, Mick Foley, Jimmy Wang Yang, Shannon Moore, and Candice Michelle.
