This morning at WWE’s annual Bacon, Bagels and Biceps Brunch in Orlando, Florida Matt Hardy was asked when he was going to make his return to the ring. Hardy said that “tonight’s a good night.” While nothing has been confirmed and Hardy could have just been telling fans what they wanted to hear, I was told that there was still a possibility that he could be added to the Money in the Bank ladder match at WrestleMania XXIV. After Jeff Hardy was suspended from WWE for 60 days following his second Wellness Policy violation one well placed source in WWE told me that they were under the impression that the company still wanted to go with eight participants. However, as was seen on WWE television, only seven participants have been announced.
Pat Patterson inducting Mae Young into the WWE Hall of Fame instead of Stephanie McMahon was apparently a last minute change. At the Hall of Fame press conference yesterday afternoon, they said themselves that Stephanie McMahon was going to be inducting Mae Young into the WWE Hall of Fame, but Pat Patterson ended up doing the honors instead.
