In today’s TNA conference call with Samoa Joe it was revealed that despite reports, he has yet to sign a new contract and the two sides are still working on new terms. There doesn’t appear to be any major issues and he is expected to sign eventually.
On the same call, he also practically gave away that he will be winning at Lockdown against Kurt, because when asked about any post TNA plans if he loses, he joked “I hear Starbucks has a good pension plan,” as if it was ludicrous that he’d be leaving TNA. Of course this doesn’t rule out any possible “storyline” retirements.
