Notes On Ric Flair, D.H Smith’s Heel Turn, SD!, & More


From Justin Fox: I was watching C-SPAN and during the one minute speeches, Rep. Sue Myrick (R-NC-9) dedicated her speech to Ric Flair. In her closing, she even woo’d!

One week after turning heel on Heat, D.H. Smith was already back to being a babyface on the next set of tapings in Albany, NY. Apparently his heel turn didn’t go well.

The 4/11 edition of Friday Night Smackdown did a 2.5 broadcast rating. The episode had scored a 2.6 rating on Nielsen’s fast national numbers.

The newly launched WWE Kids Magazine was planning on including comic strips in the magazine, but the idea has been dropped. WWE hired ex-DC Comics editor Paul Kupperberg to be the Senior Editor of the magazine, but was fired for unknown reasons. According to Kupperberg, WWE believes that kids don’t read comics.
