RAW’s Low Rating Update, Missy Hyatt Hustled, & More

This past week’s Memorial Day edition of WWE RAW drew a 2.9 cable rating. The show did hourly ratings of of 2.87 and 2.94.

Monday was a national holiday, but typically RAW’s rating only drops significantly when it falls on Christmas or New Year’s Eve. Here’s a look at the TV ratings for the past 5 years’ Memorial Day RAWs:

2007 – 3.2

2006 – 3.8

2005 – 3.8

2004 – 3.2

2003 – 3.7

In three out of the last five years, the RAW rating actually went UP on Memorial Day from the previous week’s show. With the WWE Draft over 3 weeks away, we’ll have to wait until next week to see if Vince McMahon’s million dollar giveaway draws viewers back to WWE RAW.

This week’s Heyman Hustle has Paul talking to legendary wrestling valet and his longtime nemesis, Missy Hyatt. Missy goes on and on about the countless men she’s slept with – actors, athletes, musicians. Classy. It’s actually one of the better shows Heyman’s done so far, which says a lot. This past weekend’s AM Raw drew a strong 1.1 cable rating, actually beating out last week’s TNA iMPACT! – which drew a 1.0. Certainly not good news for TNA, getting beat by a show that airs on Saturday night at 2:00 AM.
