— Former WWE star Bobby Lashley has signed on with the Kentucky-based American Fight League, reports MMAJunkie.com. It is expected to be a non-exclusive deal, so he can still do wrestling. Additionally, Lashley showed up at tonight’s AFL show in Atlanta to announce his signing with the MMA league, reports PWInsider.com. Lashley cut a promo saying he wants to fight and be the best. The AFL will be running a pay-per-view event in the Philips Arena in October, which will mark Lashley’s debut with the company. An opponent has yet to be named.

— The UFC confirmed on Friday afternoon that former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar will take on Heath Herring as a replacement for Mark “The Hammer” Coleman at UFC 87 on August 9th in Minneapolis. The match will be Lesnar’s second bout in the Octagon. Coleman withdrew from the match due to a knee injury.
