Knockout Released From TNA, Gail Kim On WWE Rumors

— It’s safe to say that the former manager of Robert Roode, Ms. Payton Banks, is through with TNA. The TNA website removed her profile from the roster section yesterday. She was on a pay-per-appearance deal with the company and after her storyline with Roode concluded, apparently they didn’t need her services anymore. You can still catch Banks in the SHIMMER promotion as she often appears on their shows. TNA also removed the profile of Elix Skipper, who has been used sparingly over the past year. The TNA site added actual profile pages on Frank Trigg, Hector Guerrero, Mike Tenay, Don West, Jeremy Borash and Willie Urbina. Also, Crystal Louthan is still listed in the roster section, so she’s still with the company, at least at this moment.

— Gail Kim has posted a new blog on her MySpace page talking about an online report saying that she was possibly going to WWE when her TNA contract expires. Of course, the “report” was completely made up by someone and credited to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer to give it legitimacy. Kim wrote: “So recently i received numerous emails regarding some rumors on the internet. Some people thought it would be a good idea to clear up the situation and thought it was blog worthy. This was of course the topic of me leaving TNA and returning to the WWE. By now, if you do keep up to date with wrestling news… you will know that the rumor was already cleared up and the news was completely inaccurate. I guess it was credited to a credible wrestling writer so people did believe it. I know I always sound like a broken record, but I have repeatedly told everyone not to believe everything they read. I understand its hard not to but I can honestly say that half the things written about me are never true and if they are, they always have inaccurate facts. so please remember to take everything with a grain of salt.

— Angelina Love is expected to be okay and not miss any wrestling bookings after suffering a concussion at last weeks iMPACT! tapings, reports PWInsider.com. Apparently she hit her head hard on the mat after being on the receiving end of a crossbody from Roxxi Laveaux.
