Kurt Angle and A.J. Styles are scheduled to appear for New Japan Pro Wrestling on August 15th in Osaka and August 16 at Sumo Hall.
According to a story by WrestlingObserver.com, TNA’s goal for the internet-based “Spin Cycle” is to try and air it on Spike TV in a 30 minute slot. It would be a promotional measure in addition to making it a half serious/half comedy program.
On a semi-related note, WrestleZone.com can report that although TNA seems to focus on their website quite a bit with shows like “TNA Today” and “Spin Cycle”, TNA management doesn’t take the site very seriously. They don’t really look at it as a very profitable investment, so they don’t worry about it that much outside of what you see on there now. Bill Banks is currently the man in charge of website content, but Borash produces and edits the video material you see on there.
