Was Kane Referring to Paul Bearer? Raw/ECW Merger Update

Former WWE personality and “father” of Kane and The Undertaker, Paul Bearer, has posted a message concerning the Kane angle which began on Raw last Monday night. Many people have been emailing both Paul (real name Percy Pringle) as well as Wrestlezone, asking us if there is any truth to the idea that Kane may have been referring to Paul Bearer when he asked “is he alive or dead.” For those of you who may not know, Paul Bearer was “killed” by The Undertaker at The Great American Bash in 2004 when he pulled a lever which dumped a vat of cement on his “father.” WWE followed up on this event by saying that Bearer was in fact badly injured but not actually dead. This is what Percy Pringle had to say on his website.

ALIVE OR DEAD?

Mercy…

PP.com has had over 20,000 visitors since WWE RAW went off the air last night, and my mailbox has been bombarded with emails. The question of the day seems to be…

“Was Kane’s rampage last night about his cemented Father Paul Bearer?”

Sorry, but I can’t answer that one. Interesting storyline, isn’t it?

Be Blessed.

It appears as if the idea to merge Raw with ECW has been pushed back even further. We reported a while back that MSG had updated its card for the house show they are running in late August, but we have now received reports that Raw will be running on its own through September as well. WWE’s holding two house shows in Arkansas during the weekend of September 12 and they’re both listed as Raw events. Both shows were previously listed as Raw/ECW joint events. WWE plans on holding a SmackDown/ECW house show on Monday, September 15 in Montgomery, Alabama.
