Reader Opinions Of The Randy Orton Motorcycle Accident

Here are some fan opinions concerning the Randy Orton motorcycle accident. I have literally received hundreds of emails since I posted my thoughts, so I will continue to post your responses.

I think this is fake, unless he fell down hill, which would mean he would have slid the 300 feet. If he was set o come back into action soon, wouldnâ<80><99>t lets say a suplex, rebreak his collarbone, if he was riding at 30mph and and was thrown off his bike? Orton storylines are so out of this world

First of all I wanna say that if your a WWE Top Tier name such as Randy Orton is, you should not be even in the same zip code as a motorcycle. Especially if your trying to return from an injury. I used to be a BIG Orton fan. But now I’ve lost a lot of respect for him. I was able to look past alot of the “mistakes” he’s made in the past, but this is just pure stupidity. The man just had a baby and was working to get back to wrestling and now he’s gonna be out an additional 3 months. Why? Not to mention that he says he’s gonna ride again… Am I the only one who thinks that there isn’t anything between his ears? I know the WWE could use him back as soon as possible, but if I’m Vince McMahon I suspend him an additional 6 months on top of the 3 he’s gonna be out. Maybe just maybe then he’ll learn.

Hi, I don’t think Randy Orton’s accident is a storyline. I don’t think WWE would go this far. Besides, I don’t think Orton would go that low either.

—————————————

I went on line this morning and contacted the jurisdiction in Jefferson County, MO that would have responded to that call. All toogether now (like the Thompson Twins song from the 80’s)…………LIES, LIES, LIES YEAAAH!” There is no record of this alleged accident.

Summerslam is coming up and Vinny boy needs to improve buy rates. Don’t be suprised if someone leaked from within, that this could be a work, only to suck in a few thousand more buyers.

And………… from my inside sources, Orton is supposed to appear at Summerslam and become the leader of a new 2nd generation faction, creating a stable with DiBiase, Rhodes, and DH Smith (with Natalie Neinhart as Valet). The plan is to attack both participants of the Cena/Batista match; hence, a no contest decision.

I personally would venture to guess that the account of the accident is legit, but since we’re putting our conspiracy theory hats on, I can’t resistâ<80>¦

The article on wwe.com (which tends to stay as close to kayfabe as possible) was written in such a way that Randy comes off as a grateful survivor and concerned parent. Whether intentional or not, this plants the seed for Randy to be viewed by some as a face in an out-of-band sort of way. Maybe Randy really justed needed more time to recover from his original injury and WWE is using this story as a first step toward bringing Randy back as a face?

That’s my two cents..

It could be that Orton lost about three-fourths of his weight, so he was able to fly further than he normally could. Or it could just be that he really had no idea how far he went, and he’s just talking out of his ass. I don’t know, but I’m sure the injury is real. Raw’s midcard is really bland these days, and the only way they’ve been spicing up the show is with more Diva wrestling (because bookers forget that most of the Diva matches suck), very stupid segments (the reason for Santino’s existence), and more segments with the main event superstars. Since Orton is a high-profile wrestler, there’s no good reason to keep him out longer with a kayfabe injury when he could be contributing to their supplemental segments. Maybe they could make him feud with Jericho because he thinks Y2J is trying to steal his moniker — I don’t know, it’s their job to come up with this stuff.

Bill Belichickâ<80><99>s plan to guarantee a Super Bowl win.

Gain possession.

Pass it to Orton.

Orton lets himself get tackled on his own 1 yard line.

Orton flies 300 feet.

Patriots only have 20 yards to go.

Orton poses “Hey! Nothing you can sayâ<80>¦”

For what it is worth, I am from the St. Louis area and there has been nothing on the news about this. A man flying the length of a football field off a motorcycle would make the news. They also ran a report on Orton when he initially broke the collarbone. Orton is fairly popular around here and his brother fights some mma around here as well. Hopefully Orton is just bullsh*ttin’ us and he comes back at the supershow on aug 31.

Firstly, I think this is a touchy subject to be discussing about. We don’t know for sure if the accident in fact a set up and discussing this issue would result in two outcomes.

1.) If the accident was real, Randy Orton himself would be pissed off from us questioning such a serious issue.

2.) If the accident was false, discussing the accident would further delay WWE’s decision of putting Randy Orton on the air at Summerslam because of these circulating rumors. Randy Orton fans would be super pissed off for the delay of the anticipation he’d appear at the PPV.

Either way it wouldn’t end up to have a happy outcome except for anti Randy Orton peeps.

So I say we just shut up and what happens, happens.
