Ortiz’ “Rick ‘n’ Rollers,” Updated TNA No Surrender Line-Up

In the WWE.com recap for Tuesday’s ECW, they talk about the growing fanbase of Ricky Ortiz. Apparently, the fanbase of the former Atlas DaBone actually has a name – “the Rick ‘n’ Rollers.” Also, his trademark towel has a name – the “Ricky O. Rally Towel.” They wrote: Ricky Ortiz kept his undefeated streak alive on ECW. With his “Ricky O. Rally Towel” in hand, the flashy, brash newcomer picked up his fourth straight victory, much to the delight of his fans â” the Rick ‘n’ Rollers â” waving Rally Towels throughout the arena.”

Following last night’s edition of iMPACT!, Booker T has qualified for the “Four Ways to Glory” main event at TNA’s No Surrender PPV on Sunday, September 14 in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada to compete for Samoa Joe’s TNA World Title. Two spots will be filled over the next two weeks on iMPACT!. Scheduled for next Thursday’s show is Kurt Angle vs. Kevin Nash in a qualifying match.

Also confirmed for the No Surrender PPV is Taylor Wilde defending the TNA Knockouts Title against Angelina Love.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
