As we reported here yesterday at wrestlezone.com, TNA announced that Eric Young was stripped of the X-Division Title due to Shane Sewell’s involvement in the title match, and so Bashir is the X-Division Champion again.
Main Event Mafia cut an in ring promo with a casket at the ring talking about Christian Cage getting a proper burial since they beat him back to WWE. Rhino came out and defended Cage, then charged the ring, but was beat down, bloodied and put in the casket.
Consequences Creed & Jay Lethal defeated Sonjay Dutt & Hiroshi Tanahashi.
The Beautiful People (Angelina Love & Velvet Sky) defeated Christy Hemme & Sojourn Bolt.
Samoa Joe & AJ Styles defeated The Motor City Machineguns then the Main Event Mafia came out to attack AJ & Joe. Jay Lethal and Consequences Creed joined in but were cut off. Sting watched from the outside.
Booker T defeated Eric Young in a Legends Title Match
Kevin Nash & Kurt Angle won over Abyss & Matt Morgan, with help from Beer Money, and Storm’s beer bottle
Mick Floey cut an in ring promo announcing two matches for Final Resolution. The 1st is Booker & Nash & Steiner & Sting vs. Joe & AJ & two partners of their choice where if The Mafia wins, Sting retains the TNA title but if the TNA guys win, AJ becomes champion. The second is Rhino vs. Angle.
Angle comes out and says he wants Jarrett not Rhino, and if not Jarrett then Foley. He slaps Foley . Jarrett, then comes out and says if Angle beats Rhino, he gets Jarrett, but if he loses, his TNA contract is void. Angle then slaps Jarrett. Rhino comes from behind and gores him. The Mafia hits the ring but Rhino escapes this time.
