Border City Wrestling 15th Anniversary Update

Due to circumstances beyond our control, “Maple Leaf Muscle” Petey Williams will be unable to appear at Border City Wrestling’s 15th Anniversary Bash, December 13th, at Assumption High School in Windsor Ontario Canada. In his place is former BCW superstar and one half of the World Tag Team Champions, Beer Money Inc., Robert “Don’t Call Me Bobby” Roode! He joins former WWF and WCW World Champion, Detroit’s own, Kevin Nash and current TNA superstars and former Can-Am Wrestling School graduates, the Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin). VIP tickets are NOW completely sold out, but you can still see all the action by purchasing general admission tickets available for $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets, detailed information, and DVD’s of past events are available at www.bordercitywrestling.com. We hope to see everyone at Assumption to help us celebrate our 15th year!

Fifteen years ago, in April 1993, Border City Wrestling held it’s first ever live event at LaSalle Arena starring Scott D’Amore, Mickey Doyle, Al Snow, Denny Kass, Bobby Clancy and Otis Apollo. In the following years, BCW would evolve from 125 seat shows in LaSalle to 3000+ shows at Windsor’s riverfront featuring some of wrestling’s hottest stars including Mick Foley, The Hart Foundation, Jerry “The King” Lawler and most notably, The Rock! During those years, BCW also helped jumpstart the careers of some of wrestling’s hottest current stars such as Christian Cage, “Little Petey Pump” Petey Williams, Rhino, The Motor City Machine Guns and the “Rated R Superstar” Edge!
