In Your Head Radio conducted an interview with Jimmy Hart this past weekend. On the subject of Vince McMahon firing him following his appearance on CCW, Hart said, “I’ll plead the Fifth. Naw, let me just say this. My whole thing that I ever do for WWE, I always have got permission to do everything.” Hart then went on to thank Vince and WWE by saying, “Like I said, I wouldn’t be sitting on the phone talking to you guys tonight if I didn’t had just the greatest chance of a lifetime when Vince called Jimmy Hart.”
WWE.com currently has a poll up asking fans who they would vote for to receive the Slammy Award for Superstar of the Year tonight on Raw. As of about 1:30pm EST, Chris Jericho is leading the WWE poll with over 32% of the votes, with Batista and Triple H trailing behind him with 18% and 17% of the votes respectively. Our own Wrestlezone poll had Chris Jericho winning the Slammy, with Jeff Hardy trailing him in second place by only 41 votes. Interestingly enough, Triple H and Batista came in 5th and 6th place, respectively, with Batista only receiving 648 votes out of a total 19,527 votes.
