New Japan Upsets Fans By Using Nazi Symbols In A Promo Poster

New Japan used various Nazi symbols on it’s DOMINION poster that is below.

Wrestlers are framed by a swastika, and the SS symbol is above the DOMINION title.

New Japan says it plans to redesign the poster and was "careless".

Hitler’s Nazi party was, in its early days, subject to violence and resistance in the form of fights, the breaking up of meetings, etc. As a result, the Schutz Staffeln, SS, were formed. They were protection units that fought against other political groups, especially the main Nazi enemy, the Communists.

New Japan is a member of the NWA.

STATEMENT FROM THE NATIONAL WRESTLING ALLIANCE®

It has come to our attention at the National Wrestling Alliance that New Japan Pro Wrestling (NWA member in Japan) has included the use of certain offensive images and symbols in the promotion of its upcoming "Dominion" event. The NWA does not approve of or condone the use of these images and symbols, and has requested that New Japan remove such images and symbols from their promotional materials. As the oldest and most storied promotional body in professional wrestling, the NWA is committed to our fans and their enjoyment of pro wrestling.
