Backstage: The Miz & Maryse

Backstage we see Maryse talking in French. The Miz walks up and says he has no idea what she’s saying but it’s really hot. Maryse rejects him. Miz says she may be the WWE.com diva, but he’s 4-0 against John Cena. He says wait and see what Miz has planned for Cena tonight. Miz walks off.

Backstage: Josh Matthews Interviews Matt Hardy

Josh Matthews is backstage and interviews Matt Hardy. Matthews asks why Matt cost his brother Jeff the title last night at Judgment Day. He says now he conveniently has a United States title match with MVP tonight. Matt talks about his broken hand and how Jeff took his dreams from him. Matt said he did what he did to get revenge. He says Vickie Guerrero erased his loss to Kofi Kingston off the record books and the only reason she gave him a United States title match is because he earned it.

Backstage: Vickie & Chavo and Randy Orton

Vickie is backstage with Chavo. She’s freaking out because Chavo made the match with her against Santina. Chavo said he got excited and just said it. Orton interupts and says you can’t go around making steel cage matches (vs. Batista @ Extreme Rules) on a whim. Vickie says she did it to make sure no one gets DQ’d. Vickie says he should worry about his match tonight. Orton threatens her and says she should worry about staying on his good side.

Unified Tag-Titles:

-Carlito & Primo Colon (c) vs. Goldust & The Brian Kendrick

Carlito’s music hits and out comes the unified tag champions the Colons. Already in the ring are their opponents, Goldust and The Brian Kendrick. A clip is shown of Goldust and Big Show’s brawl during "WWE Superstars." Cole reminds us that The Brian Kendrick promised to find the perfect partner to help take the unified tag-titles. Tonight he tries out Goldust. The entire match The Brian Kendrick is overly complaining about everything Goldust does. He forces Goldust to tag him in. He does some moves and tells Goldust "you see, that’s how you do it!" The Brian Kendrick has Carlito in a choke now. He yells at Goldust for not helping double-team Carlito in the corner. Carlito with a dropkick that allows him to get to his corner and make the tag. Primo is in now and he’s doing a lot of flip-moves on The Brian Kendrick. A cart-wheel kick and he tries for the pin but only gets two. Primo is flying all over the place. He slingshots himself over the top and body presses The Brian Kendrick for the pinfall victory.

Winners: Carlito & Primo Colon

After The Match: Hornswoggle & Goldust

The Brian Kendrick gets in Goldust’s face and yells at him for screwing up. He pushes him and yells at him some more. Hornswoggle comes from under the ring and grabs Kendrick’s leg. Goldust picks Hornswoggle up and lets him kick Kendrick in the face. Kendrick runs off as Hornswoggle’s music plays.

Backstage: The Miz As John Cena

Backstage we see a close-up of someone in a John Cena t-shirt. The camera pans up and it’s The Miz, complete with the Cena baseball cap on as well. He mocks Cena’s walking style as he makes his way to he ring. We go to commercial break.
