Dark Match:
-Sheamus O’Shaunnessy vs. Jimmy Wang Yang
Sheamus got a lot of heel heat from the crowd during this match. Crowd was very much into Wang Yang. Sheamus hit Wang Yang with his finisher for the pinfall victory in a quick match.
Winner: Sheamus O’Shaunnessy
ECW On Sci-Fi (Airing Tonight):
ECW Opener: Jack Swagger & Tiffany
The show opens with Jack Swagger in the ring sitting in a chair with a microphone. Swagger says he’s not leaving the ring until ECW General Manager Tiffany comes out and gives him his title back. Tiffany tells Swagger to get ouf of the ring and meet her in her office. She then announces Christian for the first match of the night, but as Swagger walks by him, he pushes Christian off the ramp.
Christian vs. Paul Burchill (with Katie Lea)
Burchill is focusing his attack on Christian’s leg early on. Christian knocks Burchill off the top rope and whips him into the steel steps on the outside. The crowd is really into Christian in Cincinnati. Christian hits the "Killswitch" for the pinfall victory.
Winner: Christian
After The Match: Christian Interview
Christian is interviewed by Josh Matthews after the match. Christian challenges Tommy Dreamer to a title match at the Extreme Rules PPV.
Backstage: Jack Swagger & Tiffany
Tiffany and Swagger are shown together backstage. Tiffany tells Swagger he can have the night off tonight.
Zack Ryder vs. Adam Green
Green is a local OVW wrestler in Louisville. This was a complete one-sided squash match in Ryder’s favor. Ryder hits his finisher on Green a minute or so into a squash match for the victory.
Winner: Zack Ryder
In-Ring Segment: The Hart Trilogy
A video is shown from last week’s ECW where David Hart Smith, Tyson Kidd and Natalya (The Hart Trilogy) attacked Finlay. After the video the group cuts an in-ring promo. Smith says he’s better than the British Bulldog ever was. He talks about his match tonight in the main event with Finlay. The group poses as the segment comes to a close.
Backstage: Gregory Helms Makes Match
Backstage Gregory Helms confirms a match for "WWE Superstars" this Thursday on WGN – Christian vs. Tommy Dreamer.
David Hart Smith vs. Finlay
DH Smith comes out to a new version of the old Hart Foundation theme music. Finlay is out now and the match is officially underway. Slow start to this one, lots of submission moves. The finish comes with Smith hits Finlay with Natalya’s shoe and follows with a back-drop. Kidd distracted the referee to allow that to happen. Smith gets the pinfall and the 1-2-3.
