AT RANDOM: Chris Cash Looks At Last Night’s Impact!

– I’m glad they are trying to focus on the Tag Team division again, but it’s going to take a lot more than a tournament to do it. It’s going to take time and devotion and I hope they give it just that.

– Haha, bollocks.

– Good segment with 3D putting over the British Invasion.  I also like to see the subtle face turn for Beer Money.  I think the Brits go over at the pay per view and eventually take the titles from 3D, so they can move on to a lengthy feud with Beer Money – them as the heels and Beer Money as the full-fledged faces at that point.

– Does "Jeff & Company" think they’re doing their home-grown talent a favor by Jarrett acting like he has no time for them?  And isn’t Jeff’s attitude toward Eric Young completely contradicting of what it’s been since returning as a face and as the "owner" of the company?  He built the company for the young guys like Young (pun completely intended), yet now he doesn’t have time for them.

– Why does everyone always say "no pun intended"?  Isn’t the pun normally intended when they say that?

– Why wouldn’t the idea be for Sting and Angle to team up and bring the title back to the Mafia?  Mick and Jeff hate each other apparently, so it only makes sense for them to do it.  Kurt just had to make sure, I guess.

– How many "opportunities" does Eric get before they realize that calling them "opportunities" over and over doesn’t do him any favors anymore?

– Oh, Mick Foley is supposed to be a heel???  Crazy!  But thank you Don West for putting him over and letting me know he’s supposed to be the bad guy.

– Short, forgettable match between Sting and E.Y.  Young stated to Jarrett that he was going to regret telling him to "seize the opportunity" in his match against Sting.  He then got submitted right in the middle of the ring with relative ease.  Somehow though, TNA is still going to tell everyone that TNA is about the young guys.  I know they are putting over the pay per view’s Main Event, but let Young have a good, long match.  When he gets beat, let him go crazy on Sting with a post-attack and get over on him.  Who would that have hurt?  No one.  Who would that have helped?  Ooo, I know, I know!

– I think Jeremy Borash is a little overrated by other "journalists", but him and Mick do have a good chemistry.  And I’m not talking about the chemistry that we would expect Borash to have with other men.

– Yay, an official contract signing.  I rarely enjoy these.  I do have to admit though that TNA has done good with the build-up between Love and Kong.  The Knockouts Division had lost a ton of steam and although most people blame the departure of Gail Kim for that, I blame Taylor Wilde.

– Wow, great promo by Angelina!  That was absolutely hilarious and effective.  The crowd was truly getting into her insults toward Kong’s appearance.  Classic.

– I have to stand corrected and apologize.  That was actually a very good contract signing.  Job well done, ladies!

– I still miss Roxxi, however.  The "Voodoo Queen" though, not their latest interpretation of her.
