“With all of the activities that have occurred with us since April 25th, we need the time to rebuild our sets and stages in our new NWA Coliseum at Metrolina expo,” said NWA Charlotte President JD Costello. “We will be taking a summer vacation for June and July and will return with full action again beginning Friday, August 7th.”
The plans for the new NWA Coliseum at Metrolina Expo include constructing a larger set, stage and interior. “Brady Parker has designed a set with more lights, more effects, more depth for the ramp and stage, and larger surface areas for wrestling action,” added Costello. “With all of the added space here at Metrolina Expo, it gives us more room and opportunity to build a television set with separate components to it, versus our space restrictions at the old Coliseum.”
NWA Charlotte officials will also begin a two-month swing through various promotions across the east coast searching for new NWA talent to supplement the current NWA Charlotte roster. “We want our fans to see the best NWA stars on the east coast,” said Costello. “Our fans demand the quality of professional wrestling athletes like Phill Shatter, Ryan O’Reilly, Mikael Judas, Jeff Lewis,
