It appears that only Warner Brothers has suggested interest in buying some Midway’s assets but not the TNA video game and game in development. There is a hearing on 7-1 on the potential Warner deal.
I’d expect TNA itself to step up and buy their videogame and release the new game itself, perhaps in some partnership with whatever remains of Midway after the asset sale. TNA hired a former Midway executive a while back. TNA is owed money by Midway according to the bankruptcy filing which could be credited toward any purchase or partnership.
TNA stars continue to go to California to do motion capture and voice work, the latest being Kevin Nash who was out there a week or so ago. Nash also took various meetings while there on future movie roles. Several films look likely to go forward with Nash attached.
