I’ve posted several stories about TNA iMPACT and WWE’s ECW and each’s ratings this television season.
I noted that because of the greater Household reach of Spike TV vs Sci-Fi, 97 million vs 93 million, that for some weeks now that iMPACT has been averaging a greater HH audience than ECW.
Dixie Carter in a recent interview noted that Impact was beating ECW, and season to date she was right.
Regardless, iPMACT’s average rating remained lower than ECW’s, until last week.
As of last week iMPACT is not only ahead of ECW in Households delivered season to date, but in average season to date rating iMPACT now beats ECW too, but not by much.
For the 27 weeks from Jan 5 – July 10, iMPACT’s average rating is 1.204 and ECW’s is 1.201 with iMPACT delivering approximately 1,167,880 HH to ECW’s 1,116,930 HH, a 50,950 HH difference.
Congratulations to TNA
