Former WWE Head Of Security Shoots On Hogan/TNA

Former WWE Head Of Security, Jimmy Noonan, was welcomed back to The Monday Night Mayhem Radio Network by The Big Mosh, Blade, & "The Chairman Of The Board" Todd Vincent. As many rabid fans of both World Wrestling Entertainment & TNA Wrestling are already aware of, the cost of purchasing Pay-Per-Views will be increasing by a total of $10.00 in 2010. Members of The Mayhem Nation have indeed spoken, and plenty are upset. Will there be some unrest from the wrestling fan, whether they are casual or hardcore in their passion of the product? "Well…let’s put it this way guys, I have always thought we did too many Pay-Per-Views. I think the WWE does too many shows, and I think they the beat the crap out of some cities. Back in 2003 or 2004, we were doing Little Rock, AR…huge fan base. And we had done maybe two house shows that year & a TV taping. Then we decided to do a PPV…so within about 15 months, we had done two house shows & a TV, and we were about to do PPV there. Guess what? We did a Pay-Per-View there in front of 3,500 people in a arena that held 14,000. We beat the crap out of so many markets that sometimes it’s tough to read. They should do less shows, but it’s a money-driven thing."

Among one of the hot topics that was discussed during last week’s Third Quarter WWE Conference Call was the fact that Vince McMahon said that the WWE is not just a family business & how anybody within the corporate structure is in on decisions. Todd Vincent said how it is a good tactic to show shareholders that the company is so dependent on his family members & that "the sky isn’t falling because a McMahon leaves." Jimmy has his opinion on the matter: "Wouldn’t that have been the smart way to address it & then ignore it for the rest of this press conference? All of sudden, everyone has something to say about it. One of the biggest stories in the last eight years, they could have just ignored it, but Stephanie weighed in, Vince weighed in. There’s something going on here guys. And I know this is another subject but there is an outside chance…I think it’s very curious that a week or ten days after Shane leaves the company, there’s the Bischoff/Hogan in TNA. I think the timing is a little curious. Do I think they’re related? I’m not sure. Could they possibly be? Absolutely."
