John Cena vs Randy Orton
Superstar of the Year Final Match
John Cena starts off with a couple of knees. He rams Orton’s face into the corner and hits a suplex. Pin attempt, but Orton kicks out. Bodyslam by Cena and then he drops an elbow. Cena attempts a bulldog, but Orton throws him off and Cena rolls to the outside. Orton goes out after him and hits an uppercut. He then runs Cena into the steel post. He rolls Cena back into the ring and goes for a pin, but Cena kicks out. Orton continues his attack with multiple kicks and punches. Cena starts to fight back until Orton hits his vintage backbreaker. Another pin attempt, but only two.
As Orton is methodically punching Cena, Cena goes for a quick roll up, but Orton kicks out and regains the upper hand. He goes for a knee drop, but Cena moves out of the way. He hits the shoulder block and then his usual slam and the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena then tries the Attitude Adjustment, Orton counters and attempts the RKO, Cena counters and tries the STF, but Orton counters. Cena then hits the Attitude Adjustment and goes for the pin, but Orton grabs the bottom rope at two. He takes Cena and nails his delayed DDT on to the outside mat.
The ref starts counting and Orton drags Cena up and rolls him back into the ring. He goes for the cover, but Cena kicks out again. Orton gets back in the corner and looks for the big punt to the head, but Cena moves and delivers a second Attitude Adjustment and gets the three count.
WINNER & SUPERSTAR OF THE YEAR: John Cena
Sheamus comes out to the top of the ramp and holds up his title at Cena. Cena tries to get him to come ot the ring and fight, but Sheamus doesn’t and we go off the air.
