Thanks to Rick Ingram for sending in the following results:

FCW Live Event – 03/25/2010
FCW Arena – Tampa, FL

Match 1: Cable Jones & Drake Brewer defeated Conrad Tanner & Mason Ryan when Brewer pinned Tanner

Match 2: FCW Divas Match – Naomi Night pinned Aksana

Jamie Keyes interviewed new FCW champion Alex Riley. Riley stated he wanted to give a title shot to someone who had never received an FCW title match, so he arranged to get the names of all the fans in the FCW Arena, as well as the names of all the guys in the back who have never had a title shot and put them all in a hat. Jamie drew the name Eli Cottonwood. Riley demanded a re-draw, then GM Norman Smiley came and said Riley WILL defend the title against Cottonwood in the main event.

Prior to match 3, Liviana came out and told Derrick Bateman that she feels she could pull him out of his losing streak and mold him into a champion and will take him under her wing if he can beat Rudy Parker.

Match 3: Derrick Bateman pinned Rudy Parker

After the match, Bateman & Liviana left together.

Match 4: Leo Kruger pinned Jacob Novak

Match 5: Curt Hawkins pinned Hunico

Match 6: FCW Divas Tag Team Match – Courtney Taylor & A.J. Lee defeated Tamina & Liviana when Lee pinned Tamina

Notes About The Show:

Jamie Keyes continues to impress as the ring announcer for the evening.

FCW Creative Assistant Matt Martlaro along with G-Rilla were given the try as TV announcers for the evening. Johnny Prime joined them for the 2nd half of the show.

Established European star (Gladiators) Barri Griffiths made his FCW debut as Mason Ryan. He strongly resembles Dave Batista in size as well as his face.

Rudy Parker bled hardway after taking a hard forearm to the face in his match with Derrick Bateman.

Recently released FCW talent Lift Sawyer was in attendance catching the attention of fans and former coworkers alike.

It was announced that 3/31/2010 show in Punta Gorda will feature RAW superstar Kofi Kingston, and the 4/2/2010 debut in Miami will include RAW superstars Big Show, MVP, and Carlito. NXT stars will be featured at both events as well.

The long list of those noticeably absent from the show includes Abraham Washington, Alberto Banderas, Bo Rotundo, Brett DiBiase, Caylen Croft, Darren Young, David Otunga, Duke Rotundo, Heath Slater, Jackson Andrews, Joe Hennig, Kaval, Michael Tarver, Richie Steamboat, Rosa Mendes, Savannah, Serena, Skip Sheffield, Titus O’Neill, Trent Baretta, Tyler Reks, Vance Archer, Wade Barrett, Wes Brisco, and referees Aaron “Goose” Mahoney & Rod “Spider” Zapada

As previously reported, Richie Steamboat suffered a PCL tear nearly 2 weeks and is expected to be out for several months.

Many of the regular faces at FCW events were absent due to all the pre-Wrestlemania festivities in Phoenix. Despite the absence of all the NXT rookies, most shared main roster talent, and most second generation stars, the show was fun and strong showing the depth of quality talent in the WWE’s future.
