Randy Orton vs John Morrison vs Ted DiBiase. When orton makes his way to the stage he has a staredown with Sheamus. When Orton gets into the ring Sheamus gets off his throne & goes backstage. Good match with Morrison getting thrown to the outside A LOT but still each guy got in some good offence. Finish came when Dibiase had Orton in Dreamstreak which he reversed with a over the shoulder throw to the outside with Morrison springboarding into an RKO for the pin. Orton then RKOd DiBiase when he tried to get back in the ring.
Sheamus backstage says he’s ready to make his annoucement out in the ring in mere moments. Once in the ring he says that the only he was ever champion in the 1st place was because of oppurtunity & without oppurtunity there are no accomplishments. He says he is going left filed & picking a man who has never been given a title oppurtunity, a man he thinks with the right oppurtunity can become huge. He picks Zack Ryder. Ryder comes down & thanks Sheamus for this chance & says he’s sure they can tear the house down, and YOU KNOW IT. Bell rings and Ryder gets caught with the bicycle kick to the face and wins. Sheamus says he’s now going to give us a lesson in the WWE rulebook & annouces he now doesn’t have to defend his title for a full 30 days so at Night Of Champions “This Champion is having a night off” & may even take the rest off the month, saying he may go back to ireland & before he finishes his sentence Wade Barrett, without Nexus, comes down to interrupt. Wade reminds Sheamus that in winning the 1st season of NXT he goes a title shot at a PPV of his chosing & he choses Night Of Champion. The GM emails saying he agrees in giving Wade a chance at the title but says he’s also giving 4 other superstars a chance at the belt also and announces that the WWE Title will be defended in a six pack challenge with Sheamus vs Barrett vs Edge vs. Jericho vs Orton vs Cena each guy coming down to his music to the ring. Everyone in the ring is around Shemus but Sheamus then pulls in Barrett into the middle with everyone surronding him & then beat him down with Sheamus picking him up & throwing him to the outside. He turns around into a spear by Edge, which he turns into a Codebreaker, which turn into an Attitude Adjustment by Cena which turns into an RKO by Orton to a tremendous pop by the crowd with Orton standing on the turnbuckle in complete control that should close Raw.
Immediately following that Nexus runs down & it’s annouced that this is the begging of “our” Main Event of a Raw vs Nexus vs Smackdown Battle Royal with everyone ringside getting back into the ring to start battling Nexus when John Morrison, R Truth, & Daniel Bryan run down to help out Team Raw. Suddenly the Big Show’s show music & tron playing with the crowd exploding and him leading the way with Dashing Cody Rhodes, Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger, Drew McIntyre, Rey Mysterio & CM Punk right behind him. All the WWE guys immediately beat on whichever Nexus guys they can get their hands on & all of the Nexus are elimanted within a minute. This leads to a seperation in the ring of Raw guys on one side & Smackdown guys on another which ends when everyone just ganging up on Big Show to elimanate him. After that it just descneds into a big clusterfuck of brawl with elimantions happening way too fast to keep track off. Last 4 are Rey, Punk, Cena, & Edge. Punk whips Rey into a corner with Rey reversing into a head scissors with Punk stopping and throwing Rey onto the apron and then elimanting him. Edge stops Punk & tells him to work together to gang up on Cena. They do and Edge holds up Cena for a clotheline that Cena ducked under which made Punk elimante Edge then leading Cena to elimante Punk and winning the battle royal.
