Backstage
Todd Grisham is shown backstage interviewing The Miz, accompanied by Alex Riley. The Miz is asked how he feels going into the match and The Miz responds “it’s not 1983”. The Miz is his normal self taking stabs at both Jerry Lawler and The Rock being oldies in the company.
Ringside
Vickie Guerrero is heard quietly saying “excuse me” which launches the crowd into a wave of boos. Vickie makes her way to the ring and once in the ring with a microphone, once again, over the loud booing yells “EXCUSE ME!” Once the crowd quieted enough just to hear what she wanted to complain about, Vickie says she needed help getting Dolph Ziggler re-hired. She begged the fans to Twitter and Facebook in hopes of getting Ziggler re-hired to the organization. Teddy Long’s music blares and he walks to center stage. He tells Vickie to stop because she is embarassing herself. Vickie then responds by telling Teddy to look inside his heart. Teddy explains that he did not hire Ziggler back but did however hire someone that he gave free reign to thank her for all her time as acting general manager. Kelly Kelly’s music blares as she makes her way to the ring. As Kelly Kelly makes her way into the ring Vickie tries to run but Kelly keeps her in the ring. Vickie offered to shake her hand but Kelly kicks Vickie in the stomach and then slams her head into the mat repeatidly. LayCool then came to the ring and worked Kelly Kelly. LayCool then drops Kelly Kelly at ringside and McCool shoves her knee into Kelly Kelly’s head. Trish Stratus then comes running out and successfully fights off LayCool. Trish and Kelly Kelly then celebrate in the ring together.
