TNA Victory Road Opener:
The PPV begins with a video package featuring Sting and Hulk Hogan. We shoot to commentary. Then we go to Jeremy Borash who introduces Bully Ray for the opening match.
So Cal Val cuts a promo thanking god for people like Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff, who take wrestling companies to the top. As he was about to announce the opponent, Tommy Dreamer’s music interupts him.
Dreamer hits the ring and Ray says he’s surprised he has the balls to face him. He talks about their history to support the claim. Ray announces the match is a no-DQ and falls count anywhere match.
No-DQ, Falls Count Anywhere
Bully Ray vs. Tommy Dreamer
Ray asks Dreamer his thoughts on the stipulations for this match. Dreamer responded by hitting him in the face. And our match is underway. They head to ringisde early and Dreamer uses a big stuffed animal from the crowd as a weapon on Ray.
The match heads into the crowd. They eventually work their way back to the ring and Dreamer pulls outa ring sign, trash can and construction zone block to use as weapons. But that wasn’t enough, he reaches under the ring and pulls out and inflatable doll.
The doll ends up in the 69 position on Ray. Ray hits Dreamer with a suplerplex He follows up with a blowup doll drop off the top. Dreamer reverses and hits a DDT for a nearfall.
Ray sets a table up in the middle of the ring. He grabs a mic and yells Devon. Then he dedicates the table spot to him. Devon’s music hits. His kids come out and one of them is in a neck brace.
While Ray is distracted, Devon enters the ring and gets between Ray and the table. Ray turns around and Devon and Dreamer hit a 3D on Ray through the table. Devon, Dreamer and Devon’s kids celebrate.
