TNA iMPACT Results
TNA iMPACT starts now on AMC!
Mike Santana, Mustafa Ali & The System vs. Leon Slater, Eric Young, KC Navarro, Elijah & Frankie Kazarian – Champions Challenge
- The finish of the match saw KC Navarro hit Mustafa Ali with Blessing in Disguise for the win.
Winner: Leon Slater, Eric Young, KC Navarro, Elijah & Frankie Kazarian
Grade: B+
Fun match to kick off TNA iMPACT. I liked how both teams featured a mix of heels and babyfaces. Santana attacking his own teammates was hilarious. I didn’t expect KC Navarro to pick up the win for his team, but I’m happy for TNA’s “Blessed One” as he has earned an International Title shot against Mustafa Ali.
We hear from Stacks & Arianna Grace
Stacks addresses his upcoming match against Santino Marella. Arianna Grace complains about not being included in the Knockouts Champions Challenge and blames her father for making “emotionally based decisions.”
Stacks says he will take care of business tonight and teach Marella a lesson for his “terrible decisions.” He also vows to send Marella to a retirement home. Arianna caps off the promo by saying that her father should not expect her to visit him in retirement.
Wicked Garden
Matt Hardy says The Righteous wanted the Broken Hardys, and now they are here. The vignette then abruptly cuts to Vincent and Dutch, who deliver a promo directed at Matt and Jeff. They reference a “wicked garden,” sowing the seeds for a gimmick match next week on TNA iMPACT.
Harley Hudson vs. Tessa Blanchard
- The finish of the match saw Tessa Blanchard plant Harley Hudson with a Buzzsaw for the win.
Winner: Tessa Blanchard
Grade: B+
Tessa showed why she’s a veteran with her surgically precise limb work. Harley displayed plenty of fighting spirit, but Tessa’s offense proved to be too much for the upstart.
Backstage Segment on TNA iMPACT
The Personal Concierge runs into TNA Knockouts World Champion Lei Ying Lee and tells her not to screw up tonight’s Knockouts Champions Challenge main event. Lee scares him off and resumes her workout.
Stacks vs. Santino Marella
- The finish of the match saw Arianna Grace distract Santino Marella, allowing Stacks to sneak in a pinfall for the win.
Winner: Stacks
After the match, Arianna starts trash-talking her father and attempts to hit him, but Santino stops her, only for Stacks to deliver a cheap shot. Indi Hartwell then shows up and challenges Arianna and Stacks to a mixed tag team match against herself and Santino. Daria Rae appears and admonishes Indi for announcing matches, telling them the match is not happening tonight. However, Daria has a change of heart and announces mixed tag team action for next week’s TNA iMPACT.
Grade: B-
Marella had Stacks’ number until Arianna caused a distraction. This match served as a build-up for next week’s tag team action. Honestly, I’m looking forward to Indi and Marella kicking Arianna and Stacks’ collective asses, but I have a feeling Daria Rae will cause more trouble for the babyfaces.
AJ Francis wants his paperwork
AJ Francis is seen threatening an unidentified person with consequences if he doesn’t have the required paperwork in his mailbox tomorrow.
Eddie Edwards vs. Fabian Aichner
The match is stopped after The System attacks Fabian Aichner. Cedric Alexander plants Aichner with a Lumbar Check. The post-match assault ends with The System standing tall over a fallen Aichner.
Next Week on TNA iMPACT
The following matches will air next Thursday on iMPACT:
- BDE vs. Eddie Edwards
- Indi Hartwell & Santino Marella vs. Arianna Grace & Stacks
- Broken Hardys vs. The Righteous – Wicked Garden Match
Elayna Black, Xia Brookside & Mara Sade (with Keith Jardine) vs. Lei Ying Lee and Heather & M by Elegance
- The finish of the match saw Xia Brookside spike Lei Ying Lee with an impaler for the win.
Winner: Elayna Black, Xia Brookside & Mara Sade
Grade: A-
I liked this match better than the Men’s Champions Challenge. M by Elegance stood out with her performance. The coast-to-coast, or as The Personal Concierge calls it, “Toast to Toast,” looked incredible. Xia Brookside getting the pin over Lei Ying Lee and earning a Knockouts Title shot was the logical move given their heated feud.
Overall Grade: B-
Overall, TNA iMPACT delivered a mixed episode, and while there were several strong moments, I believe the show ultimately failed to hit the mark in terms of consistency and overall impact.
The Knockouts Champions Challenge main event clearly stood out as the match of the night, delivering the most complete and engaging action of the evening compared to the rest of the card. It had better pacing, higher stakes, and stronger in-ring storytelling than anything else on the show.
One of the more positive takeaways was TNA’s showcase of young talent. Giving opportunities to stars like KC Navarro and Xia Brookside felt like a promising development, especially with both performers making the most of their moments and building momentum toward future title implications.
I also wanted to see more of Fabian Aichner, but his match ended in a no contest due to The System’s interference. In hindsight, that could actually be a positive, as the controversial finish protects him while furthering his feud with Cedric Alexander.
Despite those highlights, the rest of the show struggled to maintain the same level of excitement, leaving the overall episode feeling uneven.
