Kevin Owens has shared an incredible update on his recovery.
Fans haven’t seen KO in a WWE ring since April, when he bowed out after WrestleMania 41 due to a neck injury. The Prizefighter later underwent successful surgery and said he hoped to return to active in-ring competition next year.
“The thing is, now, we have to see how the bones fuse, and there’s no guarantee that it’s gonna work,” Owens said. “Some guys had success, some guys didn’t. Fingers crossed I get to come back to wrestling in the next year. Really don’t know, though. My goal is to come back, hopefully that’s what happens.”
The WWE Universe may very well start a countdown in anticipation of Kevin Owens’ comeback. In a new clip posted on social media, Owens can be seen performing sprints at the WWE Performance Center. In light of the update, fans can hopefully expect the former Universal Champion’s comeback on the road to WrestleMania 43.
Owens last competed at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025, where he defeated Sami Zayn in an unsanctioned match. He was reportedly scheduled to face Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41, but WWE scrapped the match due to his injury. Orton went on to face Joe Hendry in an open challenge on the biggest stage of them all.
