Brian Knobbs Gives Health Update After Recent Hospitilization

One half of the Nasty Boys, Brian Knobbs, recently had a medical emergency and was hospitalized. Now, after coming out of the hospital, Knobbs has provided a health update.

While speaking on Marcus Buff Bagwell’s YouTube Channel, Brian Knobbs shared the history of how his leg got infected and how things are going now. Knobbs shared that he had been affected by the hurricanes in Florida and the roof of his building had been blown away. Thus, he had to stay in a hotel. While staying in the hotel he stepped on a screw that was sticking out the floor. That had infected his foot and things went from bad to worse.

“In the one hotel I was in, they didn’t actually put the screws all the way down when you walk across that threshold from the bedroom to the bathroom. And the screw was sticking up. So, I only had a little bitty cut. And I went right to my podiatrist the next day. He kind of glued it up. But I was still doing a lot of stuff. So… Since Tony’s going through her medical things and so… It got wider and wider. And all of a sudden they had the wound care people coming over to my room and doing it.

“They said, ‘Hey this looks like it got infected.’ And from then on it was just everything. It got the worst infected it could get. And I had to from the hospital… I was in the hospital twice. I got a graft put on in the middle of January and it didn’t hold. But they put me back to the hotel room. They didn’t keep me in. So then, the second time I went, they put another graft on.”

Brian Knobbs rehab was one of the worst rehabs ever

“And then from there, I went to the rehab from hell where it was just one of the worst… I’ve been it before, but this one was one of the worst. I was told that by two ambulance drivers that took me during while I was there. I had a scare about my blood and my hemoglobin going down. So, they rushed me over there and both the ambulance drivers said, ‘You’re in the top five worst rehabs you can be in.’ But mentally it really gets to you. Because you are there, not too many people. There’s no place to really visit. And you got a lot of really sick people in there and people trying to take care of them. But it is what it is,” Brian Knobs said.

Knobbs also shared that he met with a doctor who specializes in infections. The doctor advised him to take good care of the foot and if it gets infected again, it could become fatal.

With all said and done, Brian Knobbs is still staying at a hotel but is happy that he has a roof over his head.

The wrestling veteran also shared that he might need to get his foot grafted again but when the grafts open up, he has to be worried about getting infections.
