AEW World Champion Jon Moxley and Swerve Strickland will clash in a mixed tag team match on the April 2nd episode of AEW Dynamite.
Strickland earned a world title shot at AEW Revolution by defeating Ricochet. He has been feuding with AEW World Champion Jon Moxley ever since. On the March 26th episode of AEW Dynamite, Strickland called Moxley out, and they had a heated confrontation. Moxley’s Death Riders stablemates got involved, and Willow Nightingale came out as well. Marina Shafir then attacked Nightingale, and they brawled.
Later in the show, the broadcast team announced that Strickland and Nightingale would face Moxley and Shafir in a mixed tag team match on the April 2nd episode of AEW Dynamite.
