Gunther took to social media to mock Jey Uso after an unfortunate slip during their brawl on Monday Night Raw last night.
The World Heavyweight Champion attacked Jey Uso last night following The Usos win over A-Town Down Under. He brawled with both men before Jey Uso set himself to hit the Austrian with a spear.
However, as he ran to hit the move, Jey Uso slipped in the corner. This gave Gunther the opportunity to jump on him, hitting him with some clubbing forearms to get the upper hand once again.

This slip was noticed by many on social media and was joked about terribly after the show. Not one to miss out, Gunther also took to Twitter to mock Jey Uso about his fall.
The World Heavyweight Champion posted the hashtag #WWERaw on Twitter, with an accompanying GIF. The clip showed a woman tripping in a theatre, throwing her popcorn into the air in a hugely comical fashion.
This was a clear reference to Jey Uso and his slip on Raw. The post has nearly one million views and over 31,000 likes, showing how much the fans enjoyed laughing at Uso’s fall.

Gunther Says He Will Mercy Kill ‘The Jey Uso Experiment’ At WrestleMania
Following Raw two weeks ago in an exclusive interview on YouTube, Gunther spoke about his intention towards Jey Uso at WrestleMania 41.
The World Heavyweight Champion vowed to give Jey Uso the “match of your lifetime” and promised to “beat your ass” in the ring. Gunther said he would hurt Jey Uso and make him suffer in the run up to, and at, WrestleMania.
He finished by claiming he was committing a “mercy killing of the Jey Uso experiment”.
“I’ve beaten stronger. I’ve beaten better. And I’ve especially beaten you—three times in a row. So what do you do? Instead of showing me a little bit of respect, instead of proving to me that you’re actually worth my time, you just keep doing the same old crap. Running around promoting that stupid four-letter catchphrase, having a little bit of fun with everybody out there just to cover up your lack of in-ring ability.”
Gunther continued: “Fun? Are you having fun, Jey? I promised you ten weeks of hell. I’m having fun every week when I beat your ass. I’m having fun every week when I choke you out. I’m having fun. 40 days till WrestleMania—I’m gonna hurt you. I’m gonna make you suffer. I’m gonna do everything in my power to give you a reason not to show up at WrestleMania.”
“But we just learned—you’re resilient. So when you walk into Las Vegas, it’s not gonna be the highlight of a sad 20-year, play-the-second-fiddle career. It’s gonna be the mercy killing of the Jey Uso experiment. Four letters. One word. Hell.” added Gunther.
