A major title match with WrestleMania implications has been announced for the March 31st episode of WWE RAW.
IYO SKY previously beat Rhea Ripley to win the WWE Women’s World Championship. As a result, she was set to defend the title against Elimination Chamber winner Bianca Belair at WWE WrestleMania 41. However, since she lost the title, Ripley has remained involved in the title picture, as she has made it clear that she wants a rematch. Ripley crashed the contract signing between Belair and SKY on the March 17th episode of WWE RAW and signed the contract.
On the March 24th episode, Adam Pearce stated that Ripley’s signature was not valid, so the WrestleMania match was between SKY and Belair. SKY said that she would defend the title against them both, but Belair said that she earned her title shot. Ripley came out and said that she just wanted her rematch. Pearce then announced that Ripley would challenge SKY for the WWE Women’s World Championship on the March 31st episode of WWE RAW. The winner of that match will defend the gold against Belair at WWE WrestleMania 41.

Later in the show, Pearce told Belair that she would be the special referee for the match between SKY and Ripley.
