Seth Rollins Compares Jey Uso To Recent Super Bowl Champion

Seth Rollins compares Jey Uso to a football star who was a key member of the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl team.

Speaking on Good Morning Football, Seth Rollins was asked to name an NFL player and compare them to a wrestler. He compared WWE’s Jey Uso to Philadelphia Eagles star running back Saquon Barkley. Rollins then spoke highly of the duo.

“I’m gonna take Saquon Barkley, baller for the Eagles, had an incredible year, out of this world year,” Rollins said. “I think everybody wanted it, hoped for it, believed in him because he’s a good guy, he’s a hard worker, and he made it all the way to the Super Bowl, won the ring. You love to see that. I’m gonna compare him to my colleague, my man, Jey Uso. Yeet. Because Jey has had an incredible year, an incredible year, one where you might have thought Jey would never have a year like this.”

Rollins went on to praise the year that Uso has had. He also looked ahead to WWE WrestleMania 41, where Uso will face World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.

“You might have thought there’s no way Jey can do that,” he said. “He was in a team with his brother, Jimmy. They had an incredible year last year, and then this year, he followed it up. It’s been unbelievable. You see the crowds, if you watch a Jey Uso entrance, it is electric, man. The whole cross, ‘Yeet,’ bouncing up and down. He is incredible. He is in one of the main events at WrestleMania this year, he is taking on Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and those are two ballers, two studs. Lot of swag right there.”

Barkley was a key part of the Philadelphia Eagles team that won the Super Bowl in February. He won the Offensive Player of the Year Award, and he was named a First-team All Pro.

Jey Uso is set to team up with a mystery partner and face A-Town Down Under on the March 24th episode of WWE RAW.
