Mercedes Moné reflects on her first year with AEW and expresses her gratitude.
Mercedes Moné debuted at AEW Dynamite: Big Business in March 2023. Since then, she has won the TBS Championship, and she has continued to defend the title. She has also won the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship and the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship.
In the latest edition of her Moné Mag, Mercedes Moné reflected on her first year with AEW. She said that the company had reignited her fire, passion, and love for wrestling.

It’s been a year since I embarked on this incredible journey with AEW,” she wrote. “Time truly does fly, and I can confidently say this has been one of the most transformative years of my career. AEW has reignited my fire, passion, and deep-seated love for this sport. It has been a beacon of hope for me, and I am endlessly grateful to AEW and Tony Khan for this opportunity!
I am privileged to share the ring with the absolute best women in the world—strong, fierce competitors who push me to elevate my game day in and day out. And let’s not forget the men; their relentless drive inspires me to strive for greatness beyond compare.
To my loyal fans who have been with me on this ride, thank you for your unwavering support! And to those new fans ready to jump on the Moné train, welcome aboard! Wrestling is everything to me, and I am honored to be part of such an extraordinary team like AEW.
