The feud between Naomi and Jade Cargill continued to escalate on WWE SmackDown.
Cargill was attacked backstage in November, but her attacker was not identified. She returned at WWE Elimination Chamber and attacked Naomi ahead of the Women’s Elimination Chamber. Naomi confessed that she attacked Cargill on the March 7th episode of WWE SmackDown, and Cargill laid her out again.
On the March 21st episode of WWESmackDown, Cargill made her return to the ring and faced WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan. They battled back and forth in a hard-fought match, and Cargill was seemingly on the verge of victory. However, Naomi appeared and distracted Cargill. She hit Cargill with one of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, and Morgan scored the win.

Naomi then viciously attacked Cargill after the bell. She knocked her off the ring apron and onto the broadcast table, and she stood tall.
