Randy Orton is determined to get revenge at WWE WrestleMania 41.
On the March 21st episode of WWE SmackDown, Randy Orton came to the ring. He was interrupted right away by Kevin Owens. Owens apologized for what he had done to Orton and suggested that they should team up together and chase the tag team titles at WWE WrestleMania 41. Orton responded by telling him to shove the apology up his ass. He referenced his theme song by saying that the voices were telling him to kick Owens’ head off at WWE WrestleMania 41.
Kevin Owens: "I can't think of a better WrestleMania moment than you and me becoming tag team champions"

Later in the broadcast, the commentary team confirmed that Randy Orton will face Kevin Owens at WWE WrestleMania 41.
Kevin Owens and Randy Orton were previously set to clash at WWE Crown Jewel in November, but they brawled before the bell, so the match was thrown out. Owens then took Orton out with a piledriver on the November 8th episode of WWE SmackDown. Orton was then absent until WWE Elimination Chamber. There, he made the save when Owens tried to attack Sami Zayn after their Unsanctioned Match. Orton and Owens briefly brawled on the March 14th episode of WWE SmackDown, but Owens escaped.
