LA Knight: My Feud With Roman Reigns Both Elevated Me And Set Me Back

LA Knight reflects on his feud with Roman Reigns and The Bloodline; he says it both elevated him and set him back.

In 2023, LA Knight feuded with Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. He unsuccessfully challenged Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WWE Crown Jewel 2023. Knight also challenged for the title in a four-way at WWE Royal Rumble.

Speaking with Shakiel Mahjouri for SHAK Wrestling, LA Knight was asked to comment on his feud with Roman Reigns and how much it benefitted his career.

“I think it did a little bit of all that,” Knight said. “I think it took me in a few different directions, I think it optically, in a way, it elevated me, and I think also optically, in a way, it also kind of set me back a little bit to where I had to do a little bit of a rebuild back in the winter and the springtime of last year. So I think that’s just by virtue of kind of the way it was all kind of set up and the way it was done, but ultimately, Crown Jewel was a nice payoff, so that was pretty good.”

LA Knight recently regained the WWE United States Championship by defeating Shinsuke Nakamura.
