Jerry Lawler is still watching the WWE, but can’t watch Raw because he doesn’t have Netflix.
The WWE Hall of Famer left the WWE last year and ended his multi-decade-long career as a broadcaster for the promotion.
He suffered a stroke in 2023, which ended his in-ring career and now Jerry Lawler is just a fan of the product – even if he can’t watch all of it!
During an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestlebinge, Jerry Lawler spoke about his current wrestling fandom. When asked if he still watched the WWE, Jerry Lawler confirmed he was still a fan. However, he is only able to watch Smackdown and PLE’s as he doesn’t currently have Netflix.
However, Bill Apter did say he’d make sure Jerry Lawler got Netflix to watch Raw, which The King seemed very pleased about.
“I do, yeah, when I get the chance. When I get the chance to, I, um… The one—what’s the one Raw has gone to? Netflix. I don’t have that. I watch SmackDown,” Jerry Lawler said.
Jerry Lawler: John Cena Turned Heel Because He’s Jealous Of Cody Rhodes
Lawler also shared his thoughts on John Cena‘s heel turn. Cena turned heel when he attacked Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at WWE Elimination Chamber. He made his first comments about the situation on the March 17th episode of WWE RAW, and he said he was breaking up with the fans.
“I gotta tell you the truth, I did hear about it after it happened,” he said. “I saw a replay of it on TV, so I knew what was coming, but I didn’t know how I would react. When I saw it, the way it was laid out was perfect, and the angle on John’s face when he hugged Cody and all of a sudden, you see that closeup view of his face, I mean, I don’t know how to describe it. When I actually watched it, it did to me what it did to a lot of those kids. It took a place I had for John in my heart, it just kind of went away, seeing that look on his face, knowing what he was gonna do, and then watched him do it to Cody. It was indescribable.”
