Eddie Kingston provides the latest update on his health.
Former ROH World Champion Eddie Kingston has been out of action since he suffered a leg injury at NJPW Resurgence in May 2024. He underwent surgery, as he suffered a tibial fracture, ACL and meniscus tear. Kingston recently discussed his recovery and noted that he was dealing with stomach issues.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider wrote that, in reaching out to Eddie Kingston, he provided an update on the situation. Kingston noted that he was trying to get better.
“I just f–ked it up from stress and got meds for it,” Eddie Kingston said. “It is getting better and better everyday. You can quote me here: I was stressed out about dumb sh– I can’t control. So I f–ked up my stomach being a a–hole, but I’m trying to get better and I will get better. As of late, I have been up and down and up and down. It was a normal day for me. I just don’t have certain things that I use to get my aggression out. This has been the longest I have ever been from my lady, pro wrestling. This is as honest as I can be Mike.”
Johnson also noted that the expectation was that Kingston would be cleared to return to the ring this summer.
WrestleZone wishes Eddie Kingston well in his recovery. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
