One of the most shocking moments in recent WWE history is the unexpected heel turn of 16-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena. It happened at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. Cena, who had been a babyface for over two decades, had sold his soul to The Final Boss, The Rock.
Cena, along with Travis Scott and The Rock, attacked Cody Rhodes. Another star who turned heel in recent times, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Kofi Kingston, reacted to Cena’s most recent promo.
This past Monday Night on Raw, John Cena made his first appearance on Live Television since the Elimination Chamber PLE. The Leader of the Cenation shared the reason why he changed. Cena blamed the fans. He claimed that no matter what he did it was never enough for them and the people were only taking from Cena and never gave him anything in return.
Kofi Kingston reacted to the promo. He shared that Cena spoke nothing but the truth and that the people have been awful.
“Not. A. Single. Lie. Told. You people have been AWFUL,” Kofi Kingston tweeted.
