The WWE ID Championship tournament will begin during WrestleMania week.
As previously announced, WWE introduced Men’s and Women’s WWE ID Championships. However, further details were not provided.
In a post on Twitter/X, WWE ID announced that the WWE ID Championship Tournament will start in Las Vegas during Wrestlemania week with two Opening Round events.
Game Changer Wrestling will present the ID Tournament matches as part of The Collective on April 16th. Future Stars of Wrestling will then present the ID Tournament matches on April 18th after SmackDown.

Sean Legacy, Zayda Steel, Ice Williams, Jackson Drake, Swipe Right (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes, Zara Zakher, and Cappuccino Jones will compete, with more talent to be announced soon.

WWE previously announced the launch of WWE Independent Development (WWE ID) in October. As part of the program, independent wrestlers would be designated as an official prospect, which meant the company would “support their developmental journey by providing financial opportunity and assisting with training, mentorship and development, including access to world-class facilities, best-in-class ring training, athletic trainers and more,” per the official announcement.
