Chelsea Green knows what — or who — she wants for WrestleMania.
Green served as the honorary pace car driver for NASCAR’s Pennzoil 400 race on Sunday. The Women’s United States Champion spoke with the media in Las Vegas after the race, where Adrian Hernandez asked what her perfect WrestleMania 41 scenario would be. Green is confident she’ll win any match she is part of, but dreamed up an opponent and stipulation.
“The outcome is obviously going to be I win, and I’m going to continue to be the greatest, longest-reigning United States Women’s Champion. But I think that — I’ve put a lot of thought into this the past couple of weeks. We’re on the Road to WrestleMania, we’re traveling all through Europe this month. I’m thinking my ideal match would be myself versus Nikki Bella in a hair versus hair match,” Chelsea Green said.
“That part is crazy, [the stipulation] is a dream,” she noted. “Hair versus hair match, that’s a dream. But me versus Nikki Bella, I love Nikki, I grew up watching Nikki. She came back at the Royal Rumble, I think this could be the perfect time to really sink her teeth into a feud and have a singles match.”
Chelsea Green previously expressed her interest in wrestling Nikki Bella at WrestleMania, noting that it’s a match she believes fans want too. Nikki recently said she will do something again with WWE, it’s just a matter of when.
Nikki Bella recently spoke about her Royal Rumble return, which resulted in a reunion with her ex-fiancé, John Cena. During an appearance on Kristin Cavallari’s Let’s Be Honest live podcast tour, Nikki said this was the first time in seven or eight years that she’d seen Cena.
