AEW Collision Results:

This week’s episode of AEW Collision kicks off with quick promos from Ricochet, Katsuyori Shibata, Mark Davis, Mark Briscoe, Undisputed Kingdom, and FTR hyping their matches later on this evening.

International Championship Eliminator Tournament: Ricochet vs. Katsuyori Shibata

  • The finish of the match saw Ricochet steal a victory from Katsuyori Shibata with his feet on the ropes.

Winner: Ricochet

Grade: A-

This was a great opener. Not surprised by the finish, but it would have been nice to see Ricochet score a more definitive win over someone like Shibata without having to cheat. I get that it’s his character now but still a bummer for me regardless. Minor gripes aside, I still really enjoy that.

A video package plays recapping the matches from this tournament on Dynamite.

Backstage we see The Murder Machines and Mark Davis beating up some random talents in a hallway. Davis faces Mark Briscoe later this evening.

Timeless Toni Storm and Luther are backstage. Storm talks about the things she’s done so far in Las Vegas. Storm says she wants to collide with Megan Bayne and wants to know what fan fiction came up with her. Toni says regardless of who she faces, everything will come up timeless.

Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Griff Garrison (w/ The Frat House)

  • The finish of the match saw Powerhouse Hobbs hit Griff Garrison with a spinebuster to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: Powerhouse Hobbs

After the match, The Frat House tries to surround Hobbs but The Outrunners hit the ring to make things even. They dispatch of The Frat House easily.

Grade: N/A

Just a quick squash match. Hobbs looked impressive in victory as always.

Will Thunder Rosa be ready for Megan Bayne?

Thunder Rosa is backstage with Lexy Nair. Rosa says this business is all about respect and she’s tired of Megan Bayne disrespecting everyone in the locker room. Rosa says she has bigger ovaries than Bayne has brain cells and she’s going to teach her some respect tonight. Bayne comes in and attacks Rosa laying her out.

International Championship Eliminator Tournament: Mark Davis vs. Mark Briscoe

  • The finish of the match saw interference from The Murder Machines which allowed Mark Davis to hit a modified piledriver on Mark Briscoe to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: Mark Davis

Grade: B

The match was good, but not great. The finish left me feeling pretty empty too after Ricochet cheated to win his match earlier. Hate similar cheaply booked finishes on the same show. The match was trending towards a B+ but that finish dropped it down a bit.

Did AEW not book enough people for this show?

The Murder Machines bring the people they were beating up backstage to the ring and pin them. They considered it a match, I consider it a complete and utter waste of my and everyone else’s time. Mark Briscoe hits the ring to try and get revenge for them costing him his match and gets overwhelmed until Powerhouse Hobbs comes out and the four men brawl all over the building.

Is AEW Dynasty Swerve Strickland’s event?

Swerve Strickland makes his way to the ring to speak. Strickland puts over Ricochet after their match at Revolution. Strickland says Prince Nana is home with the Embassy robe while he focuses on the AEW World Championship. Swerve says to compete for the AEW World Championship you have to be great, but to win it you have to be elite.

Strickland reflects on his AEW World Title victory last year at Dynasty and in a few weeks he has a chance to win it again on the same show. Swerve talks about the street fight this Wednesday for the title and credits Cope for what he’s done for him in his career. But Swerve says if Copeland wins the title at Dynamite he’s standing in his way and he’ll have to mow him down.

Strickland turns his attention to Jon Moxley and says he’s sure that Mox doesn’t even believe what he’s saying and he spends his time cutting promos in boiler rooms and speaking in riddles. Swerve says in three weeks, whether it’s Mox or Cope the outcome doesn’t matter, the Dynasty era continues and he’s gonna turn AEW back into his house.

Jon Moxley comes through the crowd with a tire iron and hits Swerve in the back of the knee before hitting him with a curb stomp before running through the crowd and out of the building. The cameras follow Moxley who says this Wednesday night Copeland is a deadman.

Cheap attacks won’t keep Thunder Rosa down

Lexy Nair and an AEW doctor are backstage with Thunder Rosa. Rosa says she’s not gonna let Megan Bayne punk her out and she will be competing tonight.

Hologram and Top Flight vs. Lee Moriarty and The Infantry (w/ Shane Taylor)

  • The finish of the match saw Top Flight hit a double-team move on Shawn Dean. Dante Martin scored the pinfall victory for his team.

Winners: Hologram and Top Flight

After the match, Top Flight stared down The Cru (Lio Rush and Action Andretti) who watched the match from the ramp.

Grade: B+

This was a fun match. The backstage interaction between Harleygram and The Beast Mortos was also pretty funny. Top Flight and The Cru have been absent from AEW programming for a bit so I guess tonight was the beginning of their renewing their storyline.

Megan Bayne vs. Thunder Rosa

  • The finish of the match saw Megan Bayne hit Thunder Rosa with an F5 to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: Megan Bayne

After the match, Bayne continues her attack on Rosa. This brings out Toni Storm who gets some offense in before getting hit with an F5 as well. Kris Statlander hits the ring to get things separated and she checks on Thunder Rosa as Luther helps Storm to the back.

Grade: A-

Really enjoyed this match and the story that was told. I’m already looking forward to the eventual rematch when Thunder Rosa gets to face Bayne when she’s 100% healthy. Megan Bayne is very special and barring any unforeseen circumstances has a bright future for herself in AEW.

A video package plays hyping tonight’s main event between FTR and the Undisputed Kingdom. Daniel Garcia and Adam Cole join the commentary team for the main event.

FTR vs. Undisputed Kingdom

  • The finish of the match saw FTR hit the Shatter Machine on Roderick Strong to score the pinfall victory.

Winners: FTR

After the match, Garcia and Cole leave the booth to check on their respective teams before going face-to-face.

Grade: B+

Cole and Garcia shake hands but FTR refuses to shake O’Reilly and Strong’s hands yet again as AEW Collision goes off the air.

AEW Collision Review:

The strong run of Collisions in 2025 came to an end tonight in my opinion. This show was fine for the most part, but compared to what we’ve gotten this year so far it was a definite downgrade. Shoutout to Ricochet, Katsuyori Shibata, Megan Bayne, and Thunder Rosa for being the best things on tonight’s show.

Grade: B
