Moose had an emotional encounter with The Undertaker.
At WWE NXT Roadblock, WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker gave NXT Champion Oba Femi a backstage pep talk ahead of his title defense against TNA Wrestling’s Moose. Undertaker noted that he was impressed by Femi’s work, but at that point, his focus had to be on defending his yard, which Femi later did with a match-winning powerbomb to Moose.
Following the hard-fought NXT Championship battle, The Undertaker then turned his attention to its challenger, Moose. According to Moose, “The Phenom” extended him some kind words that also made him emotional.
“Taker said some things to me after a very intense match with Oba that had me welling up,” Moose wrote on X alongside a photo of himself and The Undertaker. “Big [shout out] to one of the goats @undertaker. Now [tomorrow] I get the privilege to have a dream match with Jeff Hardy. Living a F***ing Dream.”
While he walked out of NXT without the NXT Championship, Moose still carries forth the TNA X-Division Championship, which he claimed via a victory over “Speedball” Mike Bailey back in November. Looking ahead, Moose will defend his title against Jeff Hardy, another legend of the business, at TNA Sacrifice. Sacrifice emanates from the El Paso County Coliseum in El Paso, Texas, tomorrow evening.
