Speedball Mike Bailey Officially Signs With AEW, Debuts On AEW Dynamite

“Speedball” Mike Bailey has officially signed with All Elite Wrestling, and he made his debut on the March 12th episode of AEW Dynamite.

The AEW Dynasty International Championship Eliminator Tournament began on Wednesday night. In the first round, The Beast Mortos faced a Wild Card competitor. The mystery man was revealed to be “Speedball” Mike Bailey, who made his AEW debut in the match.

Bailey and Mortos battled back and forth, and “Speedball” scored the win with a nasty kick to the head. In doing so, he advanced to the next round; he will compete in a four-way match on the March 19th episode of AEW Dynamite. The winner of that match will challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW International Championship at AEW Dynasty.

After the match, Tony Khan announced that “Speedball” Mike Bailey had signed with the company, and he posted Bailey’s “All Elite” graphic.

Mike Bailey is coming off a successful run with TNA. He debuted at Hard To Kill 2022 and went on to win the X-Division Championship three times. Bailey wrapped up with TNA after their post-Bound For Glory tapings in October. He continued to wrestle on the independent scene for the next several weeks.

Bailey has competed throughout the wrestling world. Among other accolades, he won PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles tournament in 2023.
