One of the top stars in WWE is former World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. He has been wrestling since 2004. Recently, the Visionary opened up about when he will possibly hang up his wrestling boots.
Seth Rollins was a special guest on the WFAN podcast. During the interview, the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion shared that he might potentially retire from professional wrestling when he turns 45, which is only a few years away.
“No. I’ll be 39 in May. You know, 45, maybe, really sounds all right to me. I think it’s kind of going to depend on what I do in the next few years as far as outside of WWE or behind the scenes in WWE. Both of those things are appealing to me. So, just got to figure out what that feels like. But my body is definitely in, I feel good right now. I feel very good.”
Seth Rollins would want to be a ‘Behind-the-scenes’ guy post-retirement
During the interview, Rollins shared that he is not interested in doing commentary. The Visionary wants to help the business by being a behind-the-scenes guy. He also is interested to be a part of the creative department.
“I think my… I think I’m more of a behind-the-scenes guy when it’s time for me to finish up. I’d like to be on the other side of it. I don’t want to be like a character in front of it anymore. Once I’m done in the ring, let me go back, let me help the business. Let me help the young guys and girls. Let me do something like that. Yeah. Maybe something in the creative department. We’ll see,” Seth Rollins said.
