AEW Dynamite Results:
This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite kicks off with the newly crowned AEW International Champion, Kenny Omega. The Best Bout Machine reflects on his journey to get back to this point. Omega says not only is he back with AEW, but thanks to the support of the fans, the doctors, and his friend Will Ospreay, not only is he back, he’s holding a singles title. The crowd chants “You deserve it!”
Omega also thanks Konosuke Takeshita for pushing him harder at the pay-per-view than he could have ever pushed himself. Kenny says Takeshita made this title truly international so when Tony Khan had the idea to come up with the Dynasty Eliminator Tournament, he thought it was a great idea.
Omega says he wants to face the best and he’ll be watching the tournament closely. As Omega makes his way backstage he crosses paths with The OPPS, Katsuyori Shibata has a face-off with Omega. Shibata will face Ricochet in a tournament match this Saturday on Collision.
Will Katsuyori Shibata be the one to face Kenny Omega for the AEW International Championship at #AEWDynasty?

- The finish saw Katsuryori Shibata hit the PK to score the pinfall victory for his team.
Winners: The OPPS
Grade: N/A
Just a quick squash match, not a big deal. The match wasn’t even advertised.
Ricochet sends a warning to Katsuyori Shibata
Ricochet is backstage and puts Revolution in the rearview mirror and hypes his match this weekend with Katsuyori Shibata on Collision. He warns Shibata to not even show up and just take the loss without physicality.

It’s announced that due to the finish at Revolution, Jon Moxley will defend the AEW World Championship against Cope next week on Dynamite in a street fight. The winner will defend against Swerve Strickland at AEW Dynasty.
We hear from Jon Moxley who says he underestimated Copeland at Revolution. Mox says he knows he hurt Cope at the pay-per-view and whatever he’s made of is rare. Moxley says their rematch next week won’t have any rules since it’s a street fight and then he won’t have any more excuses to give.

Powerhouse Hobbs and Hologram (w/ Harleygram) vs. Brian Cage and Dralistico
- The finish of the match saw Powerhouse Hobbs hit Dralistico with a spinebuster to score the pinfall victory for his team.
Winners: Powerhouse Hobbs and Hologram
After the match, Lancer Archer and Mark Davis come up and argue with Dralistico and Cage for losing the match.
Grade: B+
This was a fun match. The interactions at ringside between Harleygram and The Beast Mortos were entertaining. Weird to see trouble in paradise for the Murder Machines already. I guess we’ll see where it goes.
The Hurt Syndicate has the week off
We get a promo from The Hurt Syndicate that took place following Revolution. MVP gives Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin a week off. Perhaps they’ll return in time for next week’s show.
With every great story, comes a great HOLLYWOOD ending as Toni Storm & Mariah May clashed for the AEW Women's World Title.

A video package plays recapping the epic rivalry between Toni Storm and Mariah May. Toni Storm comes out onto the stage and says the tramp is still the champ. Storm says she had her Hollywood Ending at Revolution and a chunk of her heart is gone forever but when she looks at the title, it was well worth it.
Storm says it’s an honor to be the AEW Women’s World Champion and says it’s the most talented locker room in wrestling. Toni takes sly shots at other champions on the roster. Storm essentially calls out the entire locker room like only she can. She’s attacked from behind and laid out by Megan Bayne.

International Championship Eliminator Tournament: Speedball Mike Bailey vs. The Beast Mortos
- The finish of the match saw Speedball Mike Bailey hit The Beast Mortos with a Crescent Kick to score the pinfall victory.
Winner: Speedball Mike Bailey
Grade: A
This was a ton of fun and a great debut for Speedball in AEW. I don’t believe these two men have ever faced each other before and they had great chemistry. Speedball is the easy choice to face Kenny Omega at Dynasty as far as I’m concerned.
There are issues in The Patriarchy
The Patriarchy is backstage with Renee Paquette but Christian Cage refuses to speak until she leaves. Cage makes a bunch of excuses and lies about why he didn’t win the AEW Championship at Revolution. Cage is cut off by Nick Wayne who calls him out on his lies and there is a heated exchange between Cage and Wayne. It seems this group might not be a thing for much longer.
Nick Wayne speaks up….against Christian Cage?? ?

A surprising business offer for MJF
MJF comes to the ring and much like Christian Cage makes excuses for his loss at Revolution. Friedman says the issue between him and Hangman Page is far from over. This brings out MVP. The two pretend like they have heat but end up hugging instead. MVP runs down his history with MJF and tells him that he’s proud of him.
Porter says he isn’t proud of what happened to him on Sunday at Revolution. MVP wants to know why he’s out there whining to these people about what happened at the pay-per-view. MVP wants to know why he’s not hurting people. Porter says MJF has lost his edge and that the people in the back don’t respect or fear him anymore.
MVP says they fear The Hurt Syndicate. MVP pulls out his business card and tells MJF it’s a golden ticket to change his career. Porter suggests it’s time for him and MJF to talk business. MJF declines the card and says he’s not the same bright-eyed bushy-tailed kid he was years ago. MJF says he doesn’t need MVP’s help and he was World Champion for a long time.
MVP tells MJF to focus on the word “was” and hands him the card, this time MJF takes it as MVP leaves to let MJF think about it in the ring.
Max Caster comes out to do his open challenge and it’s answered by Konosuke Takeshita.
Konosuke Takeshita vs. Max Caster
- The finish of the match saw Konosuke Takeshita hit Max Caster with Raging Fire to score the pinfall victory.
Winner: Konosuke Takeshita
Grade: A+
I will NEVER get sick of these Max Caster squash matches. I love them so much! Hahaha!
Keep refreshing throughout the evening for live coverage of tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
